93 Nevins/435 Pacific (Brooklyn, N.Y.)

93 Nevins/435 Pacific is a landmark construction project that will demonstrate to homebuilders and buyers nationwide the possibilities for green and sustainable living in an urban environment. Construction is under way on the two-unit brownstone – New York City’s first-ever Health House as certified by the American Lung Association. Developed by Green Depot (www.greendepot.com), the home will showcase more than 100 green and sustainable innovations. Once a pharmacy, a Laundromat, a deli, and until recently a site slated for demolition, 93 Nevins/435 Pacific – a remodel of a 1920s brownstone in Brooklyn’s Boerum Hill neighborhood – will house two three-bedroom town homes featuring next-generation green technologies. It’s located at the corner of 93 Nevins Street and 435 Pacific Street.
