In Spring 2005, celebrated chef Wolfgang Puck and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, a leading contemporary arts center known for the depth, range, and vitality of its multidisciplinary programs, opened 20.21, a merger of contemporary art and contemporary cuisine in the Walker’s newly expanded facility designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron. Named for the focus of the Walker’s collection—20th- and 21st-century art—and inspired by the Walker and Puck’s continual innovation, the restaurant is the latest fine-dining signature concept by Wolfgang Puck.
