Kristin Heinmets:

Kristin is a member of Haberman & Associates’ consumer products and LOHAS team. With more than nine years of public relations and communications experience, she provides strategic counsel, media relations and event marketing to her clients.

Prior to joining Haberman, Kristin worked at Padilla Speer Beardsley (PSB) for seven years, leading several consumer and retail accounts. At PSB, she provided expertise in managing product launches and media relations campaigns for numerous clients, including Macy’s, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Northwest Airlines and Cub Foods. She also led public relations initiatives for several events including the Holidazzle parades, Minneapolis MOSAIC and the opening of Gold Medal Park.

Kristin’s efforts resulted in numerous regional and national public relations Awards, including a PRSA Silver Anvil, IABC Gold Quill, PR Week Award, PR News Platinum Award and numerous PRSA Classic Awards and IABC Bronze Quill Awards. In addition, her public relations campaign for the 2005 Holidazzle Parades won the IABC Pinnacle Award, the highest-scoring and most prestigious award that year.

Kristin also worked at Thrivent Financial, assisting in corporate communications for the Fortune 500 company.

Kristin is a graduate of Bethel University in St. Paul, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in English literature. She grew up in Wisconsin, and is a proud cheesehead and former competitive figure skater.
